This is part one of a few blogs. This is mainly going to be of what has happened, and the next few will be pictures. Enjoy!
The semester is over and now I have to wait till January to receive grades. Oh well. The best part of this semester, dissecting. I have amazing people in my program (8 and 1/2...one is part time so Lydia is half!) and I couldn't ask for better classmates. Lydia and I have tried many different coffee shops and well, thats been a fun adventure in itself. I celebrated Black Friday with Lydia in Henry's Coffee Shop, and all over campus documenting my day.
I have made 3 amazing friends. They are awesome people and I have enjoyed seeing movies, getting coffee, and having dinner with them! One is working in his PhD, one does medical art for a pharmaceutical company (I hope that is right) and then Lydia is working on her Masters in Human Anatomy. It's been hard going to the movies here, due to the stupid seizures, but these friends are super understanding. Lydia and I saw ''Saving Mr. Banks'' and then all of us saw ''Homefront'' :) Great friends they are!
While Lydia and I went to the movies, we learned that Dundee has a hockey team. Not a field hockey, but ice hockey! Our mission next term, to go to a Scottish Ice Hockey game! :) Note to self, my brother is not playing, so I cannot yell ''Hit em!'' I will have to remain as much in game spirit as I can to root for people I do not know, and yell the generic ''fight'' since Zach isn't playing. LOL. ;)
I love my classes. I love my professors. I wish there was more time in the dissecting room. It is amazing. :)
I went to Edinburgh this past weekend for the German Christmas Market. It was pretty, alot of people, but stupid flashing lights. I did buy a coffee maker! (A French Press) for £12 which was a large and 2 types of coffee....Ahhh!!!! Real Coffee! Finally! It was the best £12 I have spent. I love coffee! I tried different types of cheese, must say I loved the pickled herb cheese! So good! I also bought some Mulled Wine (Which is really big over here during Christmas) for my mom, and a wooden turtle. I love my turtles!
So here are the start of the pictures:
